The University Honors Program provides an unparalleled atmosphere for learning in which students from every major and class year follow their imaginations to develop new insights, discoveries, and creations. Our newest initiative, the Honors Propel Grant, provides dedicated funding for Honors students to design their own projects that go beyond traditional research and creative endeavors under expert faculty mentorship. As Honors students unlock opportunities like these, their aspirations and accomplishments rise and they can cultivate a variety of new competencies they might not have developed otherwise. Students have used the Honors Propel Grant to write a book for publication, develop new medical technologies, and explore resilience among Japanese villagers affected by a natural disaster. With your support, the University Honors Program will bolster this exciting form of experiential learning, making it a cornerstone of an Honors education at Northeastern. And, you will enable Honors students to transform their visions into reality and meet the diverse challenges facing our world.

Honors Alumnus Sean O’Donnell (DMSB ’93) will match $100 for every gift that the University Honors Program receives through Giving Day, up to $2,500, so the impact of your donation will be significantly amplified!
