Department of History
The Department of History at Northeastern is a student-centered program that emphasizes the study of national and regional histories as well as of the global exchanges between nations, regions, and cultures. This year we are seeking money to support student (undergraduate and graduate) activities, events, and research. We are a research-oriented department, and it is crucial that our students be able to travel to archives and libraries to complete their programs. Likewise, we hope to support students wishing to present at conferences or participate in professional development workshops. Money will also be used to support student events on campus, such as our student-run graduate history symposium.
